Testimonials
Sam's Amusements has been the main attraction at our town festival since 2007. We consider ourselves lucky to have such wonderful partners at Sam's Amusements. They run a very efficient, good, clean operation. In fact, since their involvement, our festival has grown every year. We look forward to a continued professional relationship well into the future, but we also are proud to consider the good folks at Sam's Amusements friends.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform everyone that reads this site, how satisfied and what a pleasure it has been to be associated with Sam's Amusements for the last 14 years. We have been so pleased that we have not contacted any other contractor. I have been the Amusement Chairman for the past 20 years in a East Texas town that has a fall festival held every year since 1945. In 1995, I had a contractor called 4 months before the festival and inform us they would be unable to make the date. Sam's Amusements was recommended and will be making their 14th appearance in October.
Sam's Amusements has fulfilled every contract demand and has been very professional to work with. The rides are always clean, well maintained, and operated by cordial employees. They also have several game concessions as well as food booths to compliment the park setting. Because of our long affiliation, it is like being on auto pilot. Sam's will come and set up with little or no supervision, which has made my responsibilities as chairman minimal.
We now have the honor and pleasure of working with Gary and Jodi Montgomery of Sam's Amusements and I congratulate them for a very successful 2009 festival. They are continuing to carry on the excellent tradition that has been established and that we have so experienced these past years. We will be seeing them again in October of 2010.

The Cass County Fair in Weeping Water, NE has enjoyed working with Sam's Amusements for over 25 years! Always on time, well ran, and easy to work with. Many people come into our office and comment on how clean the carnival is, and friendly people working there! Sam's also has new features every year that help to provide a fun family experience for all. It's not “the same ole' thing again!” We regard Sam's as a partner in our success as a county fair here!

"We have been working with Sam's Amusement's for some twenty years. They have always been dependable and easy to work with. They provide a nice carnival and always leave our fairgrounds in good shape. We look forward to having them again at our county fair."

The fairgoers at the Warren County Fair in Indianola, Iowa have marveled at Sam's Amusements in the Midway since 2003. We have been impressed with the friendly atmosphere that the staff creates. The ride workers are clean, provide a safe environment, and are dressed in Sam's Amusements uniform shirts that are easily identifiable. We have found the staff easy to work with, eager to please, and honest. The management team is equally responsive to any changes or challenges that may occur at the last minute. The 2009 fair was flawless and we enjoyed uninterrupted success with the new ownership that we have a great respect and rapport with.

I have conducted business with Sam Whitaker, owner of Sam's Amusements, for the past ten years. In 2009, I became acquainted with Gary and Jodi Montgomery as they engaged in a transition of ownership with Mr. Whitaker. As in previous years with Mr. Whitaker, my relationship with the Montgomery's was both friendly and professional.
The carnival is a big part of our city's annual celebration called Trail Days. It is very important that we invite quality event providers into our city who understand the importance of enhancing the community spirit, and doing nothing to tarnish our city's image. We expect our carnival owners, and their employees, to interact with carnival attendees in a professional and courteous manner. Over the years, this has always been the case with Sam's Amusements.
I see the carnival as a four-day, fun-filled, event heavily attended by school aged children. I see many mom's and dad's attending the carnival with their children. I personally enjoy watching families walking down the midway together. The carnival is a highly anticipated event each year. What's not to like about rides, games, and food? Trails Days will be held May 6-9 this year. As a kid at heart, I can hardly wait for the corn dogs and funnel cakes to arrive!
